Prof. Tröger studied mathematics in Darmstadt and Karlsruhe. He received a PhD in economics from the University of Bonn. After working as a Research Fellow at the University College, London, he was appointed Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of California at Santa Barbara. He returned to Bonn, then was appointed Associate Professor at the University of Bern, Switzerland, before moving to Mannheim. He is interested in game theory and microeconomics.
